Refund & Return Policy — Baycity Power Parts (India)

1) Coverage

This policy applies to orders shipped within India only.

2) Returns (Defective Products Only)

We accept returns only in case of defective products.

A product may be considered defective if it has:

  • Manufacturing defect, or

  • Damage/issue that affects functionality and is not caused by improper installation, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Returns are not accepted for reasons such as wrong selection, change of mind, or compatibility issues. Please confirm product fitment/compatibility before placing an order.

3) Exchanges (Accepted)

We accept exchanges in the following situations:

  • You received a defective product (after verification), or

  • You received the wrong item/model/variant compared to what was ordered.

Exchange is subject to:

  • Stock availability of the replacement item, and

  • Successful verification by our team.

If the replacement item is unavailable, we may offer:

  • An alternate replacement of equal value, or

  • Store credit / refund (where applicable and as per approval).

4) Time Window to Report

You must report any issue within 24 hours of delivery.

Please email us at support@baycitypowerparts.com with:

  • Order number

  • Product name / SKU (if available)

  • Clear photos/videos of the defect

  • Photos of outer packaging (if damaged)

  • Unboxing video (recommended for faster verification)

5) Condition for Return / Exchange Approval

To be eligible, the item must be:

  • Unused and in original condition (unless defect is discovered on inspection/opening)

  • In original packaging with all accessories, manuals, tags, and invoices (if included)

We reserve the right to reject claims if:

  • The product shows signs of misuse/installation damage,

  • The issue is reported after 24 hours,

  • Required evidence is not provided.

6) Return / Exchange Process

  1. Contact us at support@baycitypowerparts.com within 24 hours.

  2. Our team will review the request and may request additional details.

  3. If approved, we will share instructions for return pickup/shipping.

  4. After we receive and inspect the item, we will:

    • Ship the replacement (exchange), or

    • Process the return (defective-only returns), as applicable.

7) Shipping Costs for Returns / Exchanges

  • If the return/exchange is approved due to a verified defect or wrong item shipped by us, we will guide you on the return shipping method.

  • If the claim is found invalid after inspection, shipping charges (both ways) may be borne by the customer.

8) Refunds (If Applicable)

Refunds are processed only after the returned item is received and inspected (where return is applicable).

  • Refunds (if approved) are made to the original payment method.

  • Processing time: typically 5–10 business days after inspection approval (bank timelines may vary).
